Programs: Health first health plans (hfhp) is primarily engaged in promoting the general welfare of the community by providing low-cost, high-quality health plans to low income, elderly, or underserved persons. Enrollment is open to all who qualify for medicare. Hfhp's primary plans are ma hmo which operate under the trade names "health first health plans and "florida hospital care advantage". Ma plans offer everything that traditional medicare covers, in addition to gym membership and allowances for dental and vision care. The plans feature an extensive network of providers and cover emergency care worldwide. Hfhp's plans are available to individuals living in brevard, indian river, highlands, hardee, volusia, orange, seminole and flagler counties in florida. Hfhp's priorities are to invest into quality improvement, affordability, and other activities to improve the health and health care of the entire community.
