A coworker had told me about Space Coast Honor Flight, so my husband and I signed up to be volunteers. To see the veterans prepare to go to Washington, D.C. to visit the military memorials is so heartwarming and touching.
My husband ended up traveling as a veteran and I later went as a guardian to a veteran. What experiences we had!
Space Coast Honor Flight has everything so organized that the trips go without a hitch.
I like the group so much that I picked up an additional responsibility--Mail Call Coordinator.
