transitional living centers of oklahoma (the lindsey house):this is a transitional living center for single mothers and their children who are in a state of homelessness. Because the foundation focuses on housing and shelter needs, this charity was a perfect fit. Not only does this charity provide needed shelter for homeless mothers and their kids, but a case worker trains the mothers on how to get a job and get back on their feet. In 2014, the foundation gave $2,500 to the lindsey house.

habitat for humanity:habitat for humanity is an internationally known charity that helps disadvantaged families build and own their own home. The connection between this charity and the mission of the hba charitable foundation is obvious. There has been a strong connection between habitat for humanity and the foundation's sole member, the home builders association of greater tulsa, for many years. In 2014, $2,500 was given to this organization.

tulsa day center for the homeless:the tulsa day center for the homeless provides a safe, clean facility for homeless people in downtown tulsa to go during the day. While it is only a temporary, daytime shelter, this charity meets the foundation's goal of supporting groups that provide shelter to those in need. In 2014, $500 was given to the this organization.
