Our mission is to provide helpful information and resources to enhance the quality of life for children with disabilities and the community as a whole. Make the regular environments of our community special for everyone by helping them become accessible to the needs of a diverse population Project a positive image of children Promote practices that improve the quality of life for all children Promote practices that improve the support services for all children Provide information, resources, educational materials and training on inclusion and issues that effect the disabled. This would benefit children, parents, teachers, school administrators, service providers, businesses, therapists, recreational facilities and many other areas of our community Educate the public about the exceptional population and how inclusion will benefit everyone Our goal is for all children to be a part of what every child wants to be, just kids. We want all people to understand that having a disability is but one small part of the exceptional child. They are more similar than they are different.
Programs: Parent to parent training on how to be your child?s advocate Workshops and conferences on a variety of issues that effect our exceptional children Access to current information, resources and laws that effect your child's education and quality of life Providing special events and projects for the inclusion of you and your child in the community Partnering with other established Exceptional Student organizations and services
