Mission: An affiliate of habitat for humanity international, racine habitat for humanity, inc. Tries to eliminate poverty housing and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.
Programs: Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. With our help, habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build a better life for themselves and their families. Racine habitat for humanity works to eliminate barriers to a better, healthier, more financially stable life. We started construction on two new houses and sold two houses in the oldest five and lowest wealth census tracts in the city of racine area during fiscal year 2017.
