This organization represents the steadfast defense of the fundamental rights of the citizens of this Republic. This organization is instrumental in providing information about upcoming legislation as well as providing education to the public and legislators alike regarding the fundamental rights that citizens have, and may exercise at their option.
This organization is financially transparent and accountable. This organization spends its money wisely, and has successfully challenged several recent abrogations of the people’s rights by both federal and state agencies and has been instrumental in restoring both rights and property to many law-abiding citizens who were victims of governmental overreach.
Very few organizations are as steadfast in their devotion to their mission statement as this one.
Even gun owners want more safety nets in place. As a previous service member I have fired weapons and know the power they have to kill and kill quickly. I also was properly trained to use them. We have no background checks on many gun sales. No training or registration requirement. And severely dangerous weapons on the streets that are not used for hunting or any real scenarios expect being used in almost all mass shootings in our country! The grip Republican's and organizations like this have over others freedom to want to LIVE safely in this country without having to own a gun if they choose not to... how can you not see that American's want change? I want to send my children to school knowing they will be safe, I want to go shopping or to church without worrying about me and children will die. This is not freedom, this is one organizations agenda being pushed on others. Teachers go to school to teach children- they are not security guards or police officers, they are underpaid and under appreciated, as it is in America. Even police officers don't want to go against an AR-15 but you trust every day teachers to be able to kill a gunman? Lock our children in school like a prison? Shootings happen in schools, churches, clubs, stores, outdoor concerts, and in homes everyday. There is no amount of infrastructure we could put in place to secure every building in the US and I do not want to be locked indoors afraid to go outside or go on vacation-- I can tell you travelling to TX is not on my vacation wish list any longer. When is enough...enough- will it take your own child, mother, wife, grandparent to die for you see the insanity that is American gun violence? We simply have too many guns, that are too easy to buy/own, any criminal or angry/sick young person can buy a gun with cash in hand. We need to take responsibility for our negligence as a nation. Gun violence worsened when laws changed in 2004 around assault riffles and look where we are now. The worst gun violence of any developed nation. This is an American problem Mexico has the second highest school shootings at 8, America the great 288!! This is not normal and not okay- wake up and listen to the people. More and more people die everyday, including child who never again hug their parents or grow to be the person they should be---because of our unsafe gun laws!
