Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Federated Giving Programs, Philanthropy
Mission: To create a unified community by meeting the charitable needs in the greater green valley area through grants, technical assistance and other services to non-profit organizations.
Programs: Grants were made to seven different organizations that provide health, behavioral health and other social services to green valley area residents. Grant recipients include a senior center, an organization that provides home visits and case management to frail, elderly and socially isolated residents of the greater green valley area and several community health care facilities and social service organizations.
cash contributions were made to area food banks and community gardens to help prevent hunger.
grants were made to three area organizations that provide education and education support services.
grants were made to various other charitable organizations including animal welfare organizations, volunteer fire departments and organizations supporting area artists. In addition, we held a non-profit learning institute to provide much needed education and training to other non-profits in our area.
