Mission: Goodwill temporary services helps people with disabilities or other disadvantages achieve and maintain employment to gain a better quality of life.
Programs: Goodwill temporary services of kentucky, inc. , a not-for-profit subsidiary of goodwill industries of kentucky, inc. , operates in two full-service staffing locations in kentucky, helping people with disabilities or other disadvantages find temporary jobs with the ultimate goal of full-time employment. Goodwill temporary services provides these job services for recent immigrants, ex-offenders, and people who are homeless, under-educated, disabled, or disadvantaged. Employment at goodwill temporary services enables these individuals to earn wages, gain work experience, and experience various employment opportunities. Goodwill temporary services provided 1,612 services and 1,410 placements during the 2015 fiscal year. 348 of these placements were at goodwill industries works locations, goodwill industries of kentucky, and affiliate companies. In addition, goodwill temporary services helped move 117 individuals from temporary employment to hired positions while paying $2,051,819 in mission-related wages. These achievements were accomplished in part thanks to support services provided by goodwill industries of kentucky, inc.
