Mission: Goodwill industries of dallas, inc. Exists to provide job training and employment to persons with disabilities and disadvantages to help them transform their lives through the power of jobs.
Programs: Donated goods - provides employment for persons with disabilities and/or disadvantaged conditions by means of collecting, processing and sale of donated goods. In 2016, this division provided employment to 1,017 individuals that earned approximately $9. 5 million in wages and benefits.
workforce deployment - provides assessment, remedial education, skills training, job training and placement of individuals with vocational barriers. In 2016, we served 3,299 individuals including 558 individuals placed into jobs in the community.
industrial services - provides training and employment for individuals with severe disabilities. In 2016, we provided training and employment for 93 individuals who earned $614,166 in wages and benefits.
