Programs: Speak to Succeed: Speak to Succeed is GLP’s main project. It is a structured, five-year, after-school curriculum teaching critical-needs languages to children in underserved public schools. The primary goal of the after-school language program is to make the students completely fluent in the target language. The Neighborhood Language Partnership: The Neighborhood Language Partnership is a growing part of Speak to Succeed. Through the Partnership, Global Language Project enlists the involvement of businesses and organizations in local, multilingual communities to help students practice the languages they are learning, mentor students in correct language usage, and support the development of GLP’s work. The Research, Metrics, and Evaluation Study: One of the goals of GLP is to consistently evaluate the effectiveness and success of its programs to ensure participants receive the best language education possible. GLP has partnered with New York University to implement research and assessment of Speak to Succeed and the Neighborhood Language Partnership, evaluating the key areas of language acquisition
