educational classes & meeting german language classes during this past year, over 300 adults attended three sessions of adult classes in 5 levels of instruction in austin and round rock, tx. Over 150 children in the age range from 3 to 14 years were enrolled in classes, three sessions in four levels of instruction in austin, west austin and san antonio. Additionally, there is a summer camp where 20 kids spent 2 weeks in german immersion program. We also hold stammtisch, a lunchtime gathering to
historic preservation & improvements we repair and maintain our historic headquarters building, the german free school built in 1857. It has a texas historical marker as to its historical significance. The building is open for tours.
