Causes: Education, Scholarships, Scholarships & Student Financial Aid
Mission: Promote the wide range of career opportunities within the industry. Establish strategic partnerships to expand industry awareness. Attract talent to the apartment industry. Equip individuals with the knowledge/skills necessary to enter the industry connect employers with potential candidates.
Programs: -placed over 70 students in full-time or part-time employment, internships or work-based learning opportunities. -six classes were taught at uga and georgia tech related to residential property management -sponsored over eight statewide educational conferences that exposed over 2,700 educators to the apartment industry and over 5,000 students in high schools, career academies and technical colleges. -gave over 50 presentations to entrepreneurship, business management, marketing and construction high school classes. -participated in over 20 career fairs at high schools and colleges.
peggy waskom bowl-a-thon raised 90,000 and exceeded records in attendance, volunteers and new sponsorships.
