I had the privilege of being chosen for Atlanta GLOW's 2016 Leadership Incubator Program. I am so grateful for all of the incredible tools Atlanta GLOW has provided to me. I just attached the resume Atlanta GLOW helped us craft to a Summer Public Policy Institute application at Princeton University next year. I am a first generation college student whose parents have gone through a foreclosure so I'm adamant about becoming a self-sustaining leader and effective agent of economic growth and success within my community as Atlanta GLOW's mission outlines. Atlanta GLOW has enhanced my confidence in every regard. Ashlie is a selfless leader who wisely manages the time and resources of the organization.
The Atlanta Glow nonprofit organization has been a fertile source of motivation and inspiration. Being apart of 'Generation Z', it's extremely important that we are conscious of our life's purpose and laser focused on our short/ long term goals so that we may soar to new horizons. Atlanta Glow has been an awesome gateway to igniting the purpose down on the inside of me, with that stated I encourage everyone in need of guidance and accountability to join this life impacting program... YOU WON'T REGRET IT.
Atlanta GLOW has been relentless in its mission to help young women reach their God-given potential. Volunteering with Atlanta GLOW has been one way to give back to the community of younger women in a way that has immediate impact on their present and their future. I look forward to continuing to support this organization.
AtlantaGLOW provides much needed support, training, and encouragement to young women who have a desire to be all they were created to be. The organization is made up of people who genuinely care about our future and those who are called to lead. I highly commend the group for the work they do and for their commitment to demonstrate the excellence they seek to instill in the young women they mentor.
Atlanta Glow is an excellent non profit that provides endless opportunities to grow and interact within your community. Being an member entails scholarships, community service projects, networking opportunities, lunch and learns, and even an mentor that helps me reach my educational goals!
As a newly elected board member with Atlanta Glow. I’ve felt this group of strong black women are my inspiration to become greater than what society makes us to be. I’ve been with Atlanta Glow since the beginning and has loved every moment of it!
All I can say is, I love Atlanta GLOW! It is just what our young ladies need to assist them with making their transition into adults a success! This organization operates in excellence! If I had a daughter, she would be involved! --Dr. Rhonda Anderson
Atlanta GLOW and their leader Ashlie James have been the epitome of the kind of care and effort that it takes to serve the public. I have never been more impressed with an organization that started small, but has such a big heart when it comes to providing services to the young women of Atlanta. Atlanta GLOW should be celebrated throughout the city for what they have accomplished up to this point, and I expect great things in the future for this organization. I am proud to associate myself with this organization, and even more proud of the steps they have taken to pursue their mission.
I was first introduced to Atlanta GLOW by a friend who serves on the Advisory Board. She spoke very highly of the programs as well as the organization's Executive Director, Ashlie James. I was so intrigued by everything I was hearing, that I wanted to see for myself. So I had the pleasure of meeting with Ashlie and was totally impressed by how Atlanta GLOW operates as well as the impact of the programs. It was not long after our meeting, that I began to serve on the Advisory Board. I must say that almost 6 months later, I am still amazed by everything Atlanta GLOW does. I had the opportunity to attend and volunteer at the Career Extravaganza and the Young Women's Leadership Conference. Both events were phenomenal, but the best part was seeing the faces of girls and young ladies participating in the events. They were so engaged and you could just see the impact being made on their lives. I am so happy to be apart of such an awesome organization. I look forward to seeing many more young ladies being empowered and transformed!

To say that my experience with Atlanta Glow has been life-changing is an understatement. I was recommended to this mentoring organization in January of 2017 and in only eight months, it has positively impacted all aspects of my well-being from my health, wealth to my relationships.
I had the honor of being mentored by the Founder herself, Ashlie James and through monthly meetings, emails and text exchanges, Ashlie helped me to discover my goals and create a plan to reach them. I won't say that the process has been easy, but I can confidently say that it has always been worth it. Another wonderful aspect of being with Atlanta Glow, is the number of amazing women that I have met through their organization. Ashlie is always helping me to expand my network and because of her, I have met many incredibly successful women whom have given me advice and much-needed encouragement.
The highlight of this experience came when I participated in the Atlanta Glow Leadership Conference. To see over 40 young women come for a whole day of self-development made me proud and excited to see the innovations that this next generation will create. Overall I am so grateful for the time that I've spent with Atlanta Glow and encourage everyone in the community to take advantage of this rare opportunity.
Mentor-ship from others is crucial to a young woman's success and Ashlie showed me that with a dedicated and remarkable mentor, all dreams can become realities.
Atlanta GLOW provides life changing experiences for the community it serves and those that get an opportunity to participate in serving with them. The leadership team truly lives its mission "to encourage, educate and equip young, low-income women to be thriving, self-sustaining leaders and effective agents of economic growth within their communities" every single day. I loved my experience volunteering with Atlanta GLOW during their Career Day Extravaganza in April. Seeing the looks on the young ladies faces of deep appreciation for all the care that was invested in them that day was truly priceless. Atlanta GLOW is extremely organized and invested in its mission and it shows in everything they do. I look forward to participating many more times in the future.
Why wasn’t Atlanta GLOW around when I was a teen/young woman? This is the question I continually ask myself as I get to know more about or see social media post related to #AtlantaGLOW. Atlanta GLOW’s mission is “to encourage, educate and equip young, low-income women to be thriving, self-sustaining leaders and effective agents of economic growth within their communities.” This mission was accomplished over and over again at the Annual Young Women’s Leadership Conference, held July 8, 2017. During the conference, over 30 teens and young women had the opportunity to hear from Marissa Mitchel of Fox 5 News, Chari Guzman, Miss Cobb 2017, Dr. Nicole Rankin, with the John Maxwell Team and more. Each speaker shared sage words of wisdom about the importance of education, self-love, and never giving up on a dream. Also, under the guidance of the Founder and Executive Director, Ashlie James, Atlanta GLOW awarded the Titus 235 Scholarship ($1000) to a deserving young woman beginning her college career in the fall. I cannot say enough about Atlanta Glow, Ashlie James, and the amazing volunteers that selflessly serve the young women of our community. If you know of a teen/young woman in need of mentoring, guidance in applying for colleges, or just a sisterhood of women that are dedicated to improving the lives of other women in their community, then Atlanta GLOW should be your first and only destination.
Dr. Nancy McGruder, July 2017.
I had the pleasure of working with Atlanta GLOW and meeting the phenomenal Mrs. Ashlie James. This organization met my expectations of wanting to be involved in making a difference in young women's lives. The staff and volunteers made me feel truly apart and it was my first time getting involved with this organization. The event (Young Women's Leadership Conference) was a huge success, thanks to everyone that had a hand in it. I truly am excited about being more involved with this organization and also hearing about all the wonderful things that will come from Atlanta GLOW in the future.
Atlanta Glow is an organization with the utmost dedication to its vision and values. As an advisory board member, I have had nothing but exceptional and motivational experiences through this organization. The founder and executive director, Ashlie James, is one of the most dedicated and genuine people I have ever met. Her passion is absolutely contagious. The entire team of staff and volunteers are all truly dedicated to a common purpose, and it's apparent in everything they do. They are working hard and succeeding in touching the lives of young women. The events are diverse and engaging, the speakers are knowledgable and instructive, and the assistance provided is absolutely invaluable.
Atlanta GLOW demonstrates a sincere effort to provide invaluable information to young women as they make their way from the "dorm room to the boardroom." Atlanta GLOW'S events are well planned and attended as they serve as a safe space for young women to gain confidence in themselves, their abilities and advice on professional excellence from top business women in Atlanta. Atlanta GLOW is founded by a strong woman and grooms other young women into our nation's next great leaders! I had a great time volunteering with this organization!
Every year this team grows and strive to exceed the set expectations. The unity, communication and the action is what makes this organization great!
When I was still living in Atlanta, I only had the chance to volunteer once with Atlanta GLOW, and I had such a wonderful experience. As a career counselor and graduate student at the University of Georgia at the time, I signed up to be a mock interviewer and panelist at the Career Day Extravaganza. I forget how I first learned about the organization, but I had it on my calendar for months and was so excited that I even recruited my friend who was also a career counselor and graduate student to be a volunteer! I'm passionate about empowering women to make informed decisions about their futures and making realistic plans to achieve their goals. Participating in this event was not only fun but also a meaningful experience for me, because I don't think I would have otherwise had the opportunity to interact with the lovely young women that Ashlie works with. I have so much respect for Ashlie James and the mission of this organization, I wish I had lived in Atlanta longer to serve as a mentor as well. Ashlie was very professional in her communications with the volunteers leading up to the event, including e-mail and Zoom meetings, and it helped me feel more connected to the mission.
I had a great time helping Atlanta GLOW. Everyone was warm and wonderful to the volunteers, and I could see that the participants were benefitting from the knowledge shared throughout the event.
This is a worth while organization. My personal experience with Mrs. Ashley James has left a last impression on my life. I would recommend any young woman get involved, and take advantage of the life changing experiences that you will encounter with Atlanta Glow.
I met Atlanta Glow founder through an event I hosted and found that they are a nonprofit dedicated to filling a much needed area in young women's lives. From that one encounter, I became a financial supporter and personally know of a young lady who was selected for the Leadership Incubator Program. Through that program, I watched her confidence flourish. I also had the privilege of watching the organization at work when I sponsored their lunch during the LIP. It was evident that the young ladies in LIP were truly being impacted and would take what they've learned with them for years.
I had the pleasure of being mentored by the lovely Mrs. Ashlie James over the summer of 2015. She and Atlanta GLOW are a blessing to the community, and really make a difference in the lives of the young women they come in contact with!
This is a wonderful organization that is helping a population of young women, who usually get left out. Most of the time, it is an assumption that you would already have a mentor, however Atlanta GLOW is filling in the gap to assist with career exploration, educational opportunities, and personal development.
I volunteered for Atlanta GLOW on several occasions and the experience was amazing. Working with these young girls who are striving to be remarkable entrepreneurs was very fulfilling, I also make donations whenever i can because I truly believe and support this nonprofit organization 100%.
Atlanta Glow has been such a great experience for me. I have learned so much about creating and operating a non-profit organization. I entered Atlanta Glow as a junior in high school and I am currently a senior in high school. I feel as though by participating in Atlanta Glow it has prepared me for my future. The mentoring throughout the Atlanta Glow program has helped build my confidence within leadership roles. I am very grateful for Atlanta Glow, they have made such a huge impact on my life.
Atlanta Glow is by far one of best mentoring programs I have ever participated in! This organization is grounded in helping young women to grow and develop professionally in the business world and to lead well exceptional lives. The organization provides a multitude of resources to help improve the quality of one's professional presentation by offering workshops on interviewing skills, resume reviews, professional dress, and educational resources. As a pass mentee and current member of the organization, I will say that this organization has positively impacted my life for the better and given me so much confidence for my furture endeavors.
This is an awesome organization. I had the chance to meet with the founder and a few of the ladies of the jr advisory board; about a month ago. They were all very polite and lovely and seemed to be benefitting gravely from the likes of ATL Glow. Ashley is a sweet spirit. She's passionate and has an innate grasp of her organizations mission. She's calm and collected and stays true to fulfilling the wants and needs of all of the ladies inducted into programs attached to ATL Glow. I'm so glad to have found this organization and can't wait to partake in more of their volunteer efforts.
Ever since I joined Atlanta Glow, I have been impressed with how the organization is professionally operated. All events have been organized and highly beneficial to the young women served. It has been such a blessing to join the board of this AWESOME organization.

Ashlie has created an avenue for young girls to step into powerful roles as women. The growth and leadership development Atlanta GLOW provides is an inspiration for anyone looking to encourage lower income communities to lift up their girls. I am proud to be affiliated with such a strong and passionate brand. I encourage anyone to reach out to Atlanta GLOW and see how you can benefit your young girls or assist them in the growth of their venture.
I've had to research in depth the impact on GLOW has had on the local community as a professional task as my boss considered whether to affiliate with them. I was astounded at what I found. This organization is making an impact in such a needed area and doing it with integrity. After discovering the facts about them I was compelled to donate and support them long term.
Atlanta Glow is a wonderful nonprofit organization that helps young ladies in many ways, they are always helping and volunteering their services to a lot of other causes. I have seen them pour into so many young ladies which makes a different in today's society.
My experience is actually in the preliminary phase, but I know enough already to write this review. I sort of stumbled across Atlanta GLOW via a news blast from my daughter's high school pertaining to volunteer services at the upcoming PGA tournament here in Atlanta. When I saw that GLOW was the source of the initial email, I contacted them to inquire about the possibility of the small private school at which I now teach providing volunteers as well. The enthusiastic, positive response from Ashlie James and the ensuing exchange of a couple of more emails with her afterward, led me to research a little more about GLOW. From this limited experience alone I already know that 1) GLOW is a first class operation, 2) they hire first class people, and 3) their marketing is top notch. Looking forward to establishing a closer relationship with them on both the giving and receiving ends.
AtlantaGLOW is a wonderful organization that helps young women grow and prosper through leadership, fellowship, and action. Founder Ashlie James is a great leader and along with everyone involve, the organization will continue to grow.
This organization is focused on a well defined worthy and impactful mission, extremely well organized, and poised for rapid growth and success. I am honored and thrilled to be able to serve them and eager to see the lives they touch and what path they pave in the coming years.
Atlanta Glow is an organization designed to empower and uplift young women to be all they desire through various workshops and mentoring relationships. Atlanta Glow offers a holistic approach that meets the total needs of its participants. It's truly an honor to see the growth of the organization. I can't wait to see the new heights this organization and its dedicated founder/Executive Director will embark upon next.
I am so proud of the work being done by the women at Atlanta GLOW. This organization truly makes a difference not only in the lives of young women enrolled, but also those that are volunteering.
I am on the Advisory Board and I love the work that we do. Helping young women to be the best that they can be is the biggest and greatest thing we can do for the world. Please Support Atlanta Glow.
Atlanta GLOW rocks! The organizers are very professional and work very hard. I look forward to seeing this program grow in the future!
Wonderful program that meets the needs of an undeserved population! Awesome women in various fields, trying to make a difference in the lives of young women.
This is a great non profit organization, catered to assist those who need guidance and/ or want to give guidance. By far the best, so happy to be apart of a great organization.
Atlanta Glow is the best thing to happen ever! I believe in the empowerment of women and the founder captures the goal of this in Atlanta Glow! I would like for her visions and aspirations to stretch to other major cities across the country but for now I'll just take this chapter. The world needs to understand that the founder is trying to convey! #AtlantaGLOW
Atlanta Glow was founded by a wonderful woman who is driven, and determined to succeed. Her vision has not only touched her peers around her, but many women in her community. I have personally worked along side Ashlie Kyles with my own organization, and admire her resolve. I have been a proud donor of the Atlanta Glow movement because I see it being a national organization that will encourage women around the world. Keep up the good work Ashlie and stay encouraged!
As a volunteer at this organization, I can clearly see how much Atlanta GLOW cares about it's mission. It is a group of women who truly want to see a change not only in the women that their organization services, but in the world at large. I appreciate that each of the women have such a unique story and various strengths to the group so that we can all benefit from it. Working with GLOW, it's not just a learning experience for the mentees. We can all grow and become better versions of ourselves. I am proud to say that I volunteer for such a great organization.
Atlanta GLOW is a wonderful organization that seeks to help the young women of Atlanta succeed. It is a great organization to be apart of if you have a passion for helping young women reach their full potential. I am very proud to be apart of this group that does so much to help its own community!
Atlanta GLOW is lead by a group of women that really care about the well being of our young women in today's world. They are thoughtful in everything that they do. It has been a joy to work with such professional women that give back to the community.
I was looking for a volunteer opportunity when I learned about Atlanta Glow. I thought about becoming a mentor then I said to myself, hey it is me who could really use one. I contacted Glow and my application was sent immediately. It was also not long before I was matched.
Organizational leaders went out of the way to ensure I was paired with an excellent mentor.
I am so excited to be served and I look forward to seeing Glow grow and eventually become a mentor as well.
