The Museum of Geneva History was wonderful in its set up of vignettes of artifacts of rural living. The fact that his has been all created and supported by the community itself makes that much more special. I particularly like the Palmetto weaving collection, who know the palm leaf could be so useful. They actually have an old fashion, leather bound Patent certificate for the Palm Table made from local materials. It was great afterwards to visit the old community center to have dinner and listen to music at their Blue Grass Season. I want to come back for the Fourth of July Parade that seems like the best small town event right out of Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney movie.
