Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Arts & Culture, Symphony Orchestras
Mission: To maintain and operate a professional symphony orchestra at the jersey shore; to give concerts of cultural and educational value in and for the community; and to foster such related activities that will encourage interest in and appreciation of music.
Target demographics: foster a love and appreciation for music
Direct beneficiaries per year: 20,000
Geographic areas served: the Jersey Shore region
Programs: professional orchestra performances, educational programs including a three-tiered youth orchestra, a youth chorus and an adult community chorus. Additionally, we bring free music education events to area libraries, introducing young children and their families to the instruments of the orchestra through our Meet the Music program.
