Mission: Fli believes that strong teaching in a caring environment, combined with an intensive and extensive school day, empowers today's children to be the leaders of tomorrow. The mission is to deliver a rich and rigorous educational experience in order to develop academically high-performing students with the leadership, character, and knowledge to achieve success in high school and beyond by focusing on a culture of academic achievement, respect, self-discovery, and community.
Programs: Core academics: fli provides rigorous academic instruction through the use of effective instructional strategies. Our teachers follow assessment-driven instruction based on formal and informal evaluations of individual students' academic needs and strengths. Fli's core program includes literacy, mathematics, social studies, and science. Certain students also receive counseling as a part of the core program. Extended day: all students in grade kindergarten through 8th have the opportunity to participate in our extended day program which provides enriching classes from 2:30pm to 4:45pm. The extended day program provides students with exposure to the performing arts, visual arts, and physical education, while building on students' character, self-discipline, and self-esteem.
