Causes: Education, Public & Societal Benefit
Mission: The frontier project foundation's mission is to show how sustainable design can be economical, efficient, and inviting by demonstrating innovations for southern california living and working environments.
Programs: Earth day & open house: annual event in which the frontier project and cucamonga valley water district showcase the demonstration facility and promote environmental awareness to the community, and current and potential partners and donors.
5th grade poster contest: annual event in which 5th grade students in cvwd's service area are educated on the value of water and are allowed to display their water related artwork.
elc upgrades & field trips: the environmental learning center has been developed in response to the need to provide students with a solid water and environmental education. The learning center and garden is an opportunity for first through sixth grade students to learn about water and environmental issues through hands-on activities.
