Causes: International, International Cultural Exchange, International Exchange
Mission: To provide and promote education and networking opportunities, exchanges of information, science and literary endeavors relating to all aspects of swedish culture and commerce, and to promote good relations and understanding between the peoples and governments of sweden and the united states.
Programs: Theme program "ten" has been the 17th program in the series that started 2006. Presented in house of sweden and elsewhere in the us we had seminars, exhibits, concerts, roundtable talks, student challenges, workshops, family days and more. House of sweden and friends of house of sweden celebrated 10 years and we did that by highlighting some special focus areas; gender equality, climate, security, children, migration, trade, science, culture and house of sweden. Swedish as well as american authorities, corporations, organizations, think tanks, artists and students partnered with friends of house of sweden to reach special target groups to give opportunities to exchange ideas and enhance cultural and scientific exchange between sweden and the us.
