Programs: Flrt moved its fleet of four historic streetcar bodies from granite regional park into an indoor facility at mcclellan on september 15 and 16, 2009. The car bodies will be stored in the facility owned by regional transit for the forseeable future.
friends of light rail & transit celebrated its 23rd anniversary this year in the historic amtrak station in downtown sacramento. Nearly 250 supporters and sponsors attended annual event, which is organized each year to showcase transit projects in the region, as well as historic streetcar efforts and transit planning projects.
