Mission: A christ-centered ministry that provides residential recovery programs to the homeless or chemically addicted, food to the hungry, clothing and furniture to the needy, and connection within our community through relationships.
Programs: Food service - served 130,426 meals to residents and the community. There were 34,414 visits and 119,906 individuals served through the food distribution center.
faith house - served 22 women and 30 children in a program for homeless women and children, including 1,090 nights of lodging. 20 women obtained jobs or became full-time students. 16 families obtained safe and affordable housing.
changed life recovery program - served 81 residents in drug/alcohol rehabilitation including 11,853 nights of lodging. There were 22 graduates of the program, of whom 18 obtained jobs or became full-time students. 7 residents enrolled in a ged program.
community outreach - hosted summer enrichment camps for 64 students and gave out 315 backpacks to students in need of support. Provided 155 haircuts and 590 showers for homeless and low income individuals in the community. Hosted 5 weekly bible studies. Rescued treasures - 35 residents participated in recycling 1,136,220 pounds of donated textiles. Distributed clothing vouchers to individuals and families, including 665 men, 1,661 women, and 3,199 children. Affordable housing - provided 12 apartments on a monthly basis for individuals and families that qualified through affordable housing guidelines.
