Mission: To promote the healthy well being of the residents of the city of new york by supporting the efforts which increase access to programs that address the needs and well being of the medically indigent residents of the city of new york, through educational and informational activities directed toward awareness of these programs. In furtherance of the foregoing purposes, the corporation is organized exclusively for charitable purposes as specified in section 501(c)(3) of the irs code and conducting or supporting activities for the benefit of or to carry out the purposes of urban health plan, inc, a new york not-for-profit corporation exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the irs code.
Programs: Assisted with the financing structure of the new market tax credit deal and the construction of a new medical facility with its parent company, urban health plan, inc.
