Mission: Preserve, maintain and operate a colonial home & plantation farm on the national historical register. Open to the public for guided tours.
Programs: The foscue plantation house restoration consists of a colonial home built in the 1800's and a southern plantation farm of 650 acres of farm land and timber along the trent river. The farm land is in a conservation easement with north carolina coastal land trust. The house has been restored to the pre-civil war stage. Guided tours are provided each week to the public by members of the board. Events are held on the farm land by the nc wildlife department. East carolina university trains students in archeology on the plantation.
