They take the time to match the perfect dog for your family and lifestyle. They don’t adopt out any pup to any home. They make sure it’s the right fit and everyone is happy in the long run. I have Jackson and Lily thanks to For Our Underdogs and wouldn’t trade them for anything! Thank you Britt!

I love working with FourOn! They’re in depth with their adoptions because they truly wish for these dogs to find their forever home with the right family. They’re patient and work extremely hard to get their dogs to the right home.

For Our Underdogs Refuge is extremely driven and passionate about helping animals. As a board member/volunteer, I see daily all the hard work and dedication that goes into making the rescue a great one. I'm extremely proud of everything the rescue has accomplished, and can only imagine whatever comes next will be even greater.

For Our Underdogs is a wonderful rescue. I have had the opportunity to foster 10+ dogs this year alone and I started in March. 4on takes high pride in making sure all of the animals are well taken care of with vetting, training and ensuring each pet is placed in the best fitting home. All volunteers spend a lot of time reviewing applications, contacting references, doing home checks and meet and greets prior to placing an animal. This group not only helps animals from small rural high kill shelters they also help animals avoid being taken to shelters by allowing owner surrenders. Not only am I personally a foster. I am also a foster failure who adopted from this organization. The dog that I fostered and adopted needed a lot of medical attention from needing an eye removed due to injury prior to coming into the rescue to also needing heartworm treatment. 4on doesnt just take in the "perfect" dogs however they make all of the dogs perfect for their adopters

We absolutely loved the opportunity to get our baby Odin (Ace) from For Our Underdogs. The entire experience was amazing from start to finish. The amount of work they put into finding each dog a good home thats suitable for them is AMAZING!! They make sure you're prepared for everything that could come along with training.

Four Our Underdogs Refuge really does care about underdogs. Our baby, Champ had been dumped at a gas station when his last family moved. Another family got him to the rescue group. They took good care of him, saw him through neutering, and first time claw trimming. He’s the sweetest little guy. He does have allergies and ear infections which we’re still working through, but he's worth it. He keeps his “Dad” who has a TBI company and loves to be with his family.

Fantastic adoption experience! My dog cane so well trained and was so well taken care of before I ever got him. He has been an amazing fit into my home and I was so glad to be able to rescue him!

I love working with the team of board members and volunteers that spend their days and nights making sure dogs are safe and taken care of. I am so proud of the team that has blossomed and we have almost saved 100 dogs a year and 2 months into being incorporated. We do best fit adoptions only, where we match the dog to the adoptive family and we take it very seriously. We have built a team of DOERS and ACHIEVERS, for that I am so grateful. We are always welcoming new foster families and volunteers to help us achieve our goal to help our community and to help Underdogs earn that shiny cape of success. When I got sick, the others picked up the slack (my partner Mikhail, really does a lot, and for being the only man in the group, he holds his own!) Here are some pictures of some of our fosters who survived life threatening diseases like parvo and some of the fun we've had throughout!

When we first meet For our Underdogs refuge it was at an adoption event and even though my family has experience fostering and rescuing they took the time to talk to us and our children. The immediate feeling was welcoming, warm and helpful. We fostered a little rescue for them and have stayed in touch. The rescue really makes sure that their fosters have the right pet come into their home. They have helped with classes and information to help further my/their fosters experience. Someone is always available to answer any questions and offer assistance! I can’t say enough good about this rescue. If you have rescued/fostered before you can often feel out of place in the rescue world and for our underdogs makes sure you are in their team and have always made my family and I feel welcomed and wanted! Thank you For Our Underdogs!

For Our Underdogs has come to the rescue time and time again for dogs at risk in the small rural NC shelter where I am a volunteer. They help the seniors, the medical cases, the black dogs who are overlooked, the scared ones, the bully breeds that are passed by. And they give back even more by donating food to a local pet food pantry & shelters!

Look at these beautiful dogs -- all given a new life through being rescued!

This rescue works very hard to match adopters with the right dog. After adopting you are offered many resources to help you and your new dog succeed in life. These amazing people have taken on some very challenging dogs, have gotten them the help they need and found them loving homes.
