For Our Underdogs is a wonderful rescue. I have had the opportunity to foster 10+ dogs this year alone and I started in March. 4on takes high pride in making sure all of the animals are well taken care of with vetting, training and ensuring each pet is placed in the best fitting home. All volunteers spend a lot of time reviewing applications, contacting references, doing home checks and meet and greets prior to placing an animal. This group not only helps animals from small rural high kill shelters they also help animals avoid being taken to shelters by allowing owner surrenders. Not only am I personally a foster. I am also a foster failure who adopted from this organization. The dog that I fostered and adopted needed a lot of medical attention from needing an eye removed due to injury prior to coming into the rescue to also needing heartworm treatment. 4on doesnt just take in the "perfect" dogs however they make all of the dogs perfect for their adopters
