Mission: To promote friendship, fellowship and goodwill between members; to hold CFA cat shows in order to provide a venue to show cats in competition; to educate breeders, pet owners and the general public; to promote the welfare of all breeds of cats; to stimulate humane treatment for all cats; and to use excess funds to benefit other qualified feline charitable organizations for the assistance of all cats.
Programs: Organize and stage two major CFA cat shows per year in the Denver, Colorado area, providing an opportunity for club members to show their cats in competition. Shows are held according to the rules of CFA and are open to entry and viewing by both FRCC members and the general public. Beyond the cat show competition/judging, these shows also provide education on feline topics including grooming, showing procedures, health and nutrition. In addition to shows, FRCC holds members' meetings which include club business as well as various social and educational programs of benefit to its members in various areas related to feline health, care and companionship.
