Recently we took in a turkey hen and she had been through a lot of stress. We quickly realized we did not have the expertise to help- despite how much we cared. I called Luvin Arms to see if they could help her. I am so thankful because they provided this turkey hen with a place to call her forever home. Luvin Arms is special because they treat each animal as a valuable creature. Thank you so much for being there for sweet Robin the turkey. We appreciate all the people who make up this organization.
I have volunteered at Luvin Arms and I can attest this is a wonderful sanctuary founded by amazing, caring and passionate people. The individuals that work and volunteer are so passionate about helping the animals and educating both young and old on the farm industry and what really happens to animals, on how to transition to a plant based diet with easy examples, cooking classes and easy substitutions. Luvin arms cares not only deeply about helping animals but truly on the community that supports it- changes happen by making connections with the animals and learning and listening- all things this wonderful sanctuary does every day both in person and virtually.
I am a 4+ year volunteer at Luvin Arms and there is no where I would rather spend my time! The staff and volunteers are so dedicated to enriching the lives of our residents who we all adore. They are all taken very good care of and absolutely know that they are loved. I luv Luvin’ Arms! ❤️
During the Spring quarantine with my students, I had a video class meeting every Wednesday morning, called "Morning Moos" (my classroom is cow themed). One morning I surprised my kids with a special guest... Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary! We got to visit and learn about four cows at their farm! Their handler was so knowledgeable and patient with my students' questions! I couldn't help but smile big the whole time! My students will remember this forever!
My family and I LOVE Luvin' Arms. Every time we go, we learn something new about the animals and how they got there. Their stories are really something to think about, but even though they had a rough start, they are in VERY good hands now. They are well taken care of and you can tell that each and every one of the people there love being there and being around the animals. So do we! If you have never been there, take some time and go. It's an eye opener and you will love it.
We are so fortunate to have an organization like Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary that rescues animals that have been abused or neglected. A visit to this non profit is eye opening. It's an education on how to care for all animals.
I am a monthly sponsor of a sheep named Teddy. Teddy was close to death when he came to Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary. He had sever pneumonia and was coughing up blood. Then, in 2019 he broke his leg and had to have it amputated. Needless to say, it's been a long road to recovery for poor Teddy, who was most likely escaped a feedlot. I get quarterly updates on how Teddy is doing which I really appreciate. Though I live up in the mountains of Colorado and not close to Luvin Arms, their photos of the animals on Facebook make my day - each and every day!
We Loved our visit to Luvin’ Arms and liked what we learned from our tour guide. Totally loved Chamomile, the kind curious Turkey . So We donated more and will visit again. Rhonda and Diane
I have been involved with Luvin Arms in various roles since 2015. All animal residents are treated with love and care for their individual needs and personalities. Basic needs are always provided for as well as enrichment activities. An example would be the recently constructed play structure for the goats.
Excellent programs such as cooking classes with chefs and book discussions with authors are offered on a regular basis for the wider community.
Those from outside the area can sign up for virtual tours and those within driving distance can sign up for onsite tours. Onsite tours, volunteer training and volunteer shifts are currently available with covid restrictions in place for the safety of all.
I visited Luvin Arms on Oct 3 to visit my sponsored animal and I was blown away. This sanctuary LOVES what they do and they love their animals. Luvin arms is very well-maintained and their volunteers are so attentive and educated. I could have talked to them for hours. I highly recommend supporting and/or visiting Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary, if you have the means to.
My crew and I have been working with Luvin Arms for almost a year. The educational experiences and dedication from their staff is top notch! We have loved learning, building compassion, providing service, doing art, and increasing awareness. Thank you for all that you do!
My family supports Luvin Arms because of the wonderful work they do! They provide engaging tours of their lovely residents and offer opportunities to volunteer with them. We love the respect they show for the animals.
Luvin Arms does such incredible work rescuing and caring for abused and neglected animals. Allowing the public to interact with and learn the stories of the animal residents in person, and now virtually during the pandemic, makes an immense impact on the way people view the treatment of animals. The times I have been able to visit Luvin Arms are some of my very favorite memories.
