Nonprofit Overview
Mission: The Flying W Ranch Foundation is dedicated to the stabilization, mitigation and rehabilitation of the Waldo Canyon burn area in order to educate and protect the community in regards to flooding and conservation. Our secondary mission is to preserve the history of the old west, the Flying W Ranch and the Waldo Canyon Fire.

Geographic areas served: Colorado Springs
Programs: stabilization, mitigation and rehabilitation of the Waldo Canyon burn area through projects such as: Installing log erosion control structures to stabilize hill slopes and drainages prone to flood events Planting seed and spreading mulch over various acres of burned terrain Planting saplings to jump start the restoration of the forest Removing noxious weeds
