Mission: Fitzgerald house, inc. (the "organization") provides temporary housing for the temporarily homeless veterans in new york city and long island. The homeless veterans stay in rented facilities. Residents are provided with counseling services to help them obtain permanent housing, employment and financial assistance. The organization is supported primarily through rents paid by the residents.
Programs: The organization was able to achieve its goal of housing on average 70 - 80 homeless veterans on a daily basis throughout the year.
