Mission: The purpose of the first judicial district casa program is to recruit, screen, train and supervise community volunteers who are appointed by the court to serve as guardians ad litem for children found to be under the purfiew of the idaho child protective act.
Programs: The first judicial district court appointed special advocate (casa) program serves all of the five counties of the first judicial district of idaho. During the fiscal year, volunteers gave their time to represent over 400 children in cases under our advocacy. They offered over 6,800 hours free of charge to the state of idaho.
