Causes: Basketball, Sports
Mission: To provide recreational baseball to children in the community during the spring and fall seasons which runs from january to october.
Programs: Spring baseball has an estimated participation of 550 children ranging in age fromthree to fourteen years old. Spring baseball consists of teaching children thefundamentals of baseball as well as providing a family friendly environment. Fundamentals include hitting techniques, base running, pitching and interaction ina team environment. During the spring, instructional clinics are also provided bydoyle baseball academy. Membership with the usssa baseball association providesthe league with the opportunity to be involved in tournaments across the country.
fall baseball has a participation of approx. 250 children. The fall program is fully instructional and provides an environment in which the coaches are encouraged to spend time on the fields during game time to teach proper techniques, etc. No clinics are offered during the fall due to this program being purely instructional.
