Causes: Arts & Culture, Arts Education, Performing Arts, Visual Arts
Mission: The Paradise Center for the Arts endeavors to create a vivid, energetic cultural center for the community and region as well as to be an integral part of downtown. By offering high-quality visual and performing arts opportunities, we enhance the quality of life for artists and art lovers throughout the region and beyond.
Programs: -Classes in visual arts for adults and children are run year-round and taught by artists specializing in the field. -Monthly exhibits by local and regional artists run January through November.-Business of Arts: Partnership with the local school district to teach at-risk children about production, marketing and sales of art. Program is funded by a variety of grantors. Proceeds go back to the artists.
