I have been physically, mentally, and sexually abused and for a long time in my life I was unable to get talk about any of it. When I learned about the Hope Center and started going there the Advocates were amazing! They listen, give relevant help, they will go to court with you, they help find a safe house, counseling, etc.... They helped me tremendously and work tirelessly for all of the women who enter their doors. Please consider the Hope Center as one of your great non profits. Thank you!

Causes: Domestic Violence, Family Violence Shelters, Homeless & Housing
Mission: The mission of hope center is to create zero tolerance for sexual and domestic violence through healing, outreach, prevention and education. Through innovative programming, we offer direct support to victims of violence in rice county, collaborative support to other organizations that serve victims, and educational support to the entire community.
Programs: We have a crisis line (24/7/365) for crisis intervention services, placement in local safe homes for adults and children in danger, accompaniment at evidentiary exams, support groups, individual advocacy, referrals and general support; information about victims' rights and reparations, assistance with court remedies such as orders for protection and harassment restraining orders; accompaniment to civil and criminal court hearings; aid in the development and training of response agencies, outreach, prevention and education initiatives to civic, school and community organizations.
smart-hope center works in coordination with several other organizations to provide a victim centered, integrated response team to assist victims with healing, justice and accountability.
