It has been a while since I bought my home from this "nonprofit". I was told three major lies along the way. First off, the house was advertised as 3,000 square feet, when it was actually 2,500. I was told the note was at 8%. It was at 9%. We really loved the house, so bought it anyway. Later, the dishwasher failed. I was told the house included a one year homeowner's warranty. I then found out that was a lie as well. I called the company, pretty irate about the accumulation of lies. I recall vividly the receptionist telling me to come talk to her boss "if you're man enough".

Be extremely careful with these people. Like many organizations, they hide behind the cloak of being a "nonprofit". As people, we expect better behavior.

WATCH OUT FOR THESE PEOPLE.
