Causes: Down Syndrome, Health
Mission: The mission of f. R. I. E. N. D. S. Is to promote and enhance the quality of life for persons living with down syndrome and their families. We open our arms and hearts to these individuals by enhancing community awareness and acceptance; acting as a resource of information and education; and providing a wide range of support services.
Programs: Karaoke buddies - monthly event open to all individuals with special needs and their families to provide entertainment and opportunities to network with each other.
9th annual tfs conference - annual teachers conference designed to equip teachers and staff with new and proven techniques to teach children living with down syndrome in general classroom settings.
ican bike - camps teaching individuals with disabilities to independently ride a 2-wheeled bicycle
