Causes: Mental Health, Mental Health Disorders, Substance Abuse Dependency, Prevention & Treatment
Mission: Leading the way in promoting family living by reaching out to underserved and low-income populations in our community.
Programs: Home based family case management - intensive in-home social work and psychiatric services are provided to children and their families struggling with mental health issues as well as problems effectively interacting with other significant systems such as school, neighborhood/community, juvenile justice, etc. Services are provided in the home and at other appropriate places in the community.
outpatient - outpatient counseling services including individual family and group counseling. Emphasis is placed on building positive relationships and enhancing personal growth.
school based - connects children and their families to mental health services in our community. The children are identified through their school placement and emphasis is placed on an immediate assessment of need intervention with their parents. Services are voluntary and the family's access to mental health services by reducing barriers to such services is the desired outcome.
