Mission: Our vision is to empower latinas to reach their potential through education and entrepreneurship. The eva longoria foundation supports programs which help latinas excel in school and attend college. Additionally, we work to provide latina entrepreneurs with career training, mentorship, capital and opportunity. By investing in latinas, we hope to build a stronger future for our country.
Programs: The foundation's parent engagement program provided trainings to more than 890 latino parents in los angeles in 2016, teaching them how to help their children graduate high school college-ready.
the foundation's mentorship program in san antonio, texas helped 140 female participants learn leadership and healthy living skills through visits from local latina role models and group discussions.
the foundation launched a new 'healthy amibitions' program to supplement its mentorship program in corpus christi. The supplemental curriculum engaged 165 female participants in events that encouraged career exploration and a college-going attitude.
