Mission: The primary exempt purpose of eppard vision is to strengthen communities and improve the lives of children. It is our vision to expand global awareness, encourage appreciation of diversity and promote social responsibility. Through our programs and services, we seek to model generosity, empathy, compassion, ingenuity, social responsibility, and dedication to future generations and to promote a global community where all are treated with dignity and respect.
Programs: Applied preservation technologies (apt) preserves stories past by advocating for cultural resources, such as archaeological sites and historic buildings, and promoting the preservation of our collective history through collaboration, planning, and education. Apts approach supports socially responsible land use and healthy communities with a strong sense of place. Apt produced the eleventh annual statewide cultural resource protection summit which was attended by 144 individuals, including representatives from 17 different native american communities. Apt conducted/is conducting 5 contracts (4 tribal, 1 state agency). Apt outreach included a variety of publications, presentations, and email updates to the professional community and the general public reaching a total of approximately 20,000 people.
the branch out donation program provides social emotional development/violence prevention resources and training to schools and youth organizations. The program is dedicated to strengthening community and improving the lives of children by creating a culture of respect and understanding in schools and youth organizations.
eppard visions digital scrapbook service allows individuals, families, and communities to record, preserve, and share their stories in a video montage of sound and motion. The digital scrapbook service assists in funding eppard vision's programs, and at the same time, serves its mission of expanding awareness, promoting community and enhancing relationships. When people are given the opportunity to hear, see, and feel the stories of others, we become better neighbors and community members.
