Causes: International, International Development
Mission: Each one teach one provides poor and orphaned children in domestic and developing countries, or poverty stricken areas with financial support and access to basic necessities for health, medicine, housing and education.
Programs: Eoto focuses on making sure children have the basic necessities to get an education. We sponsor over 50 children in india and cover their cost so that they can go to school and not be forced to child labor. In addition to providing funds to the children, a grant is also made to the school in the amount of 30,000 for building costs
in addition to the international work we have our annual feed la event where we get about 300 volunteers who help pass out about 80,000 pounds of food to families, prepared and served over 2800 meals, served 1250 freshly made shaved ice for all children that received backpacks, and assisted in handing out over 1250 backpacks filled with school supplies to children that need the basic items to continue their educational journey. In addition, we handed out over 12,000 pieces of brand name clothing to children and adults. This event is held at salvation army los angeles.
furthermore, we do a toy drive with salvation army where we give about 500 toys. Eoto, does food drives with second harvest and has a few fundraisers to raise money to assist with our annual feed la cost. We strive to combat poverty both internationally and domestically by making sure that we provide the basic necessities for an education for children and families that are struggling.
