Any forced female genital mutilation is a violation of human rights and we must put a stop to it.This practice causes both short and long term health issues like infections, psychological trauma, painful scarring and even death to young girls.!Thank you Entito Africa for going a step further to help eradicate this menace from our community.

I know personaly Monicah who is running Entito Africa Initiative and I am impressed me. I had occasion to see how she is working, how many people especially young ladies in school are receiving a lot of necessary knowledge of women's dignity. She is giving them support and hope for better life.

Entito Africa Initiative is currently raising awareness on the dangers of FGM and we have seen a dramatic change and drop in the prevalence of Female Genital Mutilation. I had a great time working with the organization and I'd highly recommend them for the great work!

This is a great move. A time has come for us to stop this evil against our sisters in Africa and beyond. Keep up the good work.

Entito Africa Initiative is a very interesting intitative started by Monicah Kaguithia, a very openminded and inspiring activist which has helped to initiate dozens of adolescent girls into adulthood without female genital mutilation! Passionate about ways how to end this cruel and illegal custom she has showed significant efforts to stop FG around Kajiado, Olepolos, RIft Valley including: prevention activities, providing temporary shelter, an alternative rite of passage which respects Masaai traditions and does not require circumcision and finally raising awareness through a Traditional Male Dance group among others!

I was a short term volunteer with Entito, mostly dicumenting the work through visual storytelling (photos and film - see my film https://youtu.be/acrE3O8NHs0).
