Entito Africa Initiative is a very interesting intitative started by Monicah Kaguithia, a very openminded and inspiring activist which has helped to initiate dozens of adolescent girls into adulthood without female genital mutilation! Passionate about ways how to end this cruel and illegal custom she has showed significant efforts to stop FG around Kajiado, Olepolos, RIft Valley including: prevention activities, providing temporary shelter, an alternative rite of passage which respects Masaai traditions and does not require circumcision and finally raising awareness through a Traditional Male Dance group among others!
