Mission: Empowering Epilepsy is dedicated to creating a proactive, seizure controlling, preventative respite center and community for people with epilepsy and their loved ones. Founded by people with epilepsy, for people with epilepsy, we provide free or low-cost programs, services, resources, and support to discover what we CAN do while living with seizures. We help people learn proactive strategies to lessen their seizures, meet others who understand their struggles, and provide resources and opportunities to empower their lives.
Results: Empowering Epilepsy enables people with epilepsy to take charge of their lives by connecting them to experts and peers for education, care, support, and fun, family friendly events at every age and stage. Programs offered include conferences, sessions, and support groups, all with epilepsy specialists from Level 3 and 4 Epilepsy Centers. Our Empowering Epilepsy Headquarters also hosts art therapy, special events, educational sessions, and classes focused on improving participants mind, body and spirit. Our center also offers lifestyle guidance through peer and expert interactions.

Programs: Virtual Age Based Support Groups, Educational Conferences, SUDEP Action Day Talk, Purple Day Bowling Parties, and Patient Education Program to help people with epilepsy better understand their diagnosis and treatment plan. We also provide one on one phone calls or zoom meetings to help people with epilepsy connect with an epileptologist, learn how to talk to their doctors and provide the data doctors need, and help them realize they are not alone in their struggles.
