Mission: Maximizing potential through personal commitment, collective talents and innovation, elwyn new jersey supports individuals with diverse challenges in shaping distinctive, meaningful lives.
Programs: Residential care - 230 clients served in community living arrangements. The group homes range from four person to eight person homes and are located throughout atlantic, gloucester and cumberland counties of new jersey. Each client is served under an individualized habilitation plan which includes personal goals and activities of daily living. Through counseling and reinforcement techniques, clients strive to be integral members of the respective communities. Day programs and employment services - 336 clients served in various settings, based on vocational screening and assessment of functioning level. The day program offerings include:

Sheltered workshops, where clients perform minimal assembly, packaging and sorting work for local businesses and are paid a wage based on certified time studies. 2. Supported employment, where clients are employed in the community and receive job coaching services in order to assist in job functions. 3. Senior enrichment, where clients choosing to retire and enjoy music therapy, art therapy and other events.

Adapt - serves the most fragile clients and utilizes assistive devices in order to maximize individual level of functioning.
