Renewed Minds came about as one mother's way of creating an avenue of positive change for youth in her community. Seeing first-hand the risk of losing a child to gang activity, poor choices and limited program options for children deemed 'not bad enough', she began a crusade to educate, empower and inform. The results have led to the humble beginnings of the company in her home in 2007 and have, within the span of 18 months, expanded to include 2 afterschool programs, a female rites of passage program, advocacy for the at risk in her community and a contract with the Cumberland County Juvenile Detention Center! Promotional opportunities have included locations such as Las Vegas and California. Speaking engagements have included local schools in Cumberland County,a Women's Forum hosted by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority in the Spring of 2009 and even Rowan University!
