Mission: Elwyn california was developed specifically to provide support to challenged individuals moving into the community from state institutional settings. Elwyn california specializes in services for people with intensive support needs in the medical and behavioral areas of life. Our management and direct support teams are very familiar with providing community integrated settings that include oversight and clinical excellence. Our innovative culture and dedicated staff enable us to help people build more independent, productive lives.
Programs: Responsible for the transfer of developmentally disabled persons from state institutions to community group homes. Individualized habilitation and behavior support plans for these clients were generated and implemented. Community living arrangements were designed and opened for 117 special-needs individuals residing in 28 community group homes. These individuals are being integrated into the community in order to enjoy active, productive lives.
workshop, supported employment and adult day care programs serving approximately 265 individuals are operated to provide employment and social integration opportunities to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
