I am honestly not sure what this organization does because it doesn't help caregivers. It's supposed to be an organization for caregivers, but I am a caregiver/spouse of a severely wounded veteran missing two limbs. We are in severe need due to an emergency. I barely applied for help before they denied me. I asked for guidance, I asked for help locating resources, and I asked to speak to someone. They never responded. They use their money for advertising. You'll see them on the news, and then when you actually reach out, you will be denied. No matter how wounded your veteran is and no matter how much you are struggling. This organization was the biggest disappointment and absolutely broke my heart that someone is using caregivers to get money to fund their own paychecks.
