When this city was voted the most illiterate city in the country, by a national periodical, El Paso, Texas took action. This dynamic city recruited the Chief of the Brooklyn (NY city) Library system, Dionne Mack and as we look back over the last 24 months, the metrics speak for themselves.

The recently founded El Paso City Library Foundation, led by the impeccable leadership of President Ms. Jennifer Dayoub has packed monthly meetings. people want to be part of a winner. In a city where you hear two beautiful languages every day - Lingua Franca - The El Paso Library is just that - a huge winner. Keep it up !
