Mission: The el cerrito police department is committed to service, safety, and enhancing the public trust through professionalism and leadership.
Programs: To represent its members in regards to wages, hours and working conditions; promote the development of high professional standards of its members; and actively support other organizations and societies in areas of common interest; encourage unity within the law enforcement profession by developing and supporting programs in pursuit of these goals; and promote goodwill between its members, the city of el cerrito and the general public.
