Mission: EdVenture''s mission is "to inspire children to experience the joy of learning." The museum''s vision is "to create new generations of lifelong learners."
Programs: EdVenture has a broad range of programmatic opportunities that help the educational success of children 12 and younger.Our programs are designed to impact the complete lives of children from their personal development to the education of their parents, teacher and caregivers. Our programming includes:* Early Childhood Programs which focus on the intellectual and physical development of children under the age of five.* Outreach Programs which strive to educate children throughout the state on the importance of the sciences, common chemistry, math / physics, cash flow, the environment, personal health and recycling.* Camps where children can use their imaginations to fullest by participating in programs that focus on the whimsical (magic lessons) to the bizarre (forensic science).* After school programs which have been developed to serve many audiences. From tech-savvy middle school children who want to explore robotics in our Cyber Loft to at-risk elementary schoolers in Richland School District One, we serve a diverse population of children.* Teacher Workshops are developed to be conducted inside or outside of the classroom. These comprehensive, educational workshops are geared to instruct teachers and caregivers how to integrate new concepts into their curriculums.
