This is a wonderful organization in which US teachers trained in Holocaust-genocide education work with teachers in countries that have experienced a genocide. (The organization currently operates in Rwanda, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Cambodia, etc.) The teacher-to-teacher approach is especially effective, empowering teachers to learn from each other and to create classroom lessons/materials that promote empathy and encourage interethnic dialogue.
