I have personally known Les Garber, the individual whose time, money, and dedication are responsible for the many good things that ECAE does, for a little over five years now. During that time I have witnessed his unwavering dedication to students, K-12, who have experienced difficulty with standardized schools whether it be due to a language barrier, behavioral issues, bullying, refugee status, or a learning disability. I have personally seen students who might have fallen by the wayside, go on to achieve things far beyond their wildest dreams at one time during their life. ECAE is somewhat of an unsung hero that deserves more support than it currently receives.
